Green Chemical Engineering

Jiaxing Green Chemical Engineering Center was established in April 2007. It is a public institution jointly built by Jiaxing Municipal People's government, Jiaxing Nanhu District government and Chengdu Institute of organic chemistry。

Relying on the talent and technical advantages of the Academy of Sciences, the engineering center cooperates with the local government of Jiaxing to carry out research and achievement incubation, promotion, application, transfer and transformation of fine chemicals, environmental protection technology and equipment, polymer material synthesis and application, pharmaceutical intermediates, new materials and new chemical synthesis technologies; Provide technical consultation and technical services for enterprises; Provide education and training for professionals.

The engineering center has a scientific research team with doctors, masters and senior titles as the core strength, covering an area of more than 5000 square meters, equipped with advanced instruments and equipment; It has built Jiaxing Municipal Key Laboratory of "environmental protection new materials and Application Technology Laboratory", provincial famous universities' innovation carrier and municipal "environmental protection new materials and green chemical technology innovation team"; Since its establishment, it has undertaken more than 30 national, provincial and urban projects and enterprise cooperation projects; Nearly 30 national invention patents have been applied for.
